A free Polygon NFT and in-game money for Mojo Melee are now available to Prime members, and there will be more freebies in the future.

The first offering is a free bundle that includes an NFT and in-game currency to Prime users who create a new player account for Mojo Melee. It is now accessible via the Amazon Prime Gaming gateway. The pack includes 885 Ore, a non-crypto in-game money, as well as one NFT for the champion character Gwyn Rockhopper.

The character is available as an NFT right away, but Mojo Melee’s in-game progression system generally needs players to reach a particular character level before they can mint champions as NFTs, claims the game’s developer Mystic Moose.
The six-month Amazon agreement includes additional monthly drops of free in-game NFTs and other material, giving Prime members continuing opportunities to check out the game and potentially gain an advantage over non-members.
The “auto battler” genre, which incorporates aspects of chess and real-time strategy games, has been made famous by well-known non-blockchain titles like Auto Chess and Teamfight Tactics. Mojo Melee, which is playable via web browsers as well as an Android app, puts a casual spin on this genre.
This is not the first time that Amazon Prime Gaming has teamed up with a game to give its users access to free NFTs. Through Prime Gaming, Mythical Games has provided NFT promos for its play-and-create PC and Mac game Blankos Block Party, including still-active offers for a free avatar and accessory.
Earlier this year, some reports claimed that Amazon was also considering the establishment of its own larger NFT marketplace, but as of this writing, those plans have not come to pass.
