Transak, a provider of Web3 payments infrastructure, has formed a partnership with Soneium, an Ethereum Layer 2 solution developed by Sony Block Solutions Labs, to deliver onboarding solutions aimed at mainstream users for the new blockchain initiative.

Transak serves as a web3 payments infrastructure provider, operating in 160 nations, supporting over 350 applications, and catering to more than 5.7 million users. In July, the company revealed a collaboration with Uniswap to enhance fiat on-ramp services for the Uniswap wallet.
The Soneium blockchain, built on the Ethereum Layer 2 utilizing the Op Stack, is designed for the development of consumer-grade applications. This initiative is a collaborative effort between Sony Group Corporation and Startale Labs, with early adopters of the network including Circle, Optimism, Alchemy, The Graph, Chainlink, and the Astar Network.
